Author: Benish Shah
Benish Shah is a lawyer and startup executive. She's had two sold-out children's books in the past, has been published in Refinery29, Forbes, Inc, The University of Pennsylvania, and more. Her children's books have one theme: developing books for her nieces and nephews that she couldn't find in the world.
Illustrator: Maryam Ishtiaq
Maryam Ishtiaq is a content creator and social media strategist. She has been profiled in Southern Living Magazine, The Dallas Morning News, Hello Pakistan, and more. As an immigrant, Maryam approached this book series with her daughter and her nephews and nieces in mind. She wanted to develop a tool to make it easy for parents to teach their children Urdu and this collaborative series was born.
